SteppingStones Recruitment Ltd has been awarded Platinum accreditation by Investors in People, becoming the first organisation based on the American side of the Atlantic to reach that standard.
SteppingStones is a leading recruitment firm in the Caribbean, and have expanded operations to the UK recently, providing recruitment services to the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands and wider Europe.
SteppingStones was awarded Investors in People Gold accreditation in December 2015, receiving 100% on their assessment. Since then, SteppingStones has worked to ensure that the organisation is one which ensures their employees are developed, supported and encouraged in every aspect of their career. This diligent effort did not go unnoticed, resulting in SteppingStones making history by being the first company based in the American continent to be awarded Platinum accreditation.
UK based body Investors in People is widely recognized as the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results. Working with clients across the globe, Investors in People enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale. This accreditation reinforces the confidence SteppingStones has in their team and continued growth as they expand operations into Europe.
The rigorous accreditation process included an initial context discussion with IIP specialist assessor, Gill Brown, an online assessment for all staff, and a comprehensive interview process with the IIP assessor through closed interviews with all employees. The result of this process was the assessor’s recommendation to award SteppingStones with platinum accreditation. Ms. Brown commented that Steppingstones is “a very vibrant organisation and a small organisation with a big organisation feel” and passed her huge congratulations to the entire team for this tremendous success.
